The UAB opens the MILID Summer School 2026 with an international call for media and information literacy and peacebuilding

The Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) has officially opened a new edition of the MILID Summer School, an international programme organised by the UAB's Communication and Education Office in partnership with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), the UNESCO UNITWIN MILID Network, the UNESCO MIL Alliance and the MIL Institute.

The Communication and Education Office of the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), together with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), the UNESCO UNITWIN MILID Network, the UNESCO MIL Alliance and the MIL Institute, is organising the MILID Summer School 2026, an international programme that will bring together more than 300 students, lecturers and researchers from universities and institutions across the world at the UAB Campus.

El Programa de Cooperación UNESCO-UNAOC UNITWIN sobre Alfabetización Mediática e Informacional y Diálogo Intercultural (Red Universitaria MILID) publica un informe de estudio de viabilidad para la creación del International MIL Institute. La investigación fue una iniciativa conjunta llevada a cabo por José Manuel Pérez Tornero, UAB; Alton Grizzle, UNESCO; Carolyn Wilson, Universidad Occidental de Canadá y Paulette Stewart, Universidad de las Indias Occidentales.
