The UAB will host the Second MILID & Global Understanding Conference to Combat Disinformation and Hate Speech

Barcelona (UAB, hotel EXE Campus, Bellaterra) will host the Second International Conference on Media and Information Literacy and Global Understanding (MILID & Global Understanding), an international forum dedicated to strengthening global strategies against disinformation and hate speech in the digital age.

Global Understanding: un foro para reivindicar el papel de los medios de comunicación en el entendimiento entre culturas

Durante la tercera jornada de la MILID Doctoral Summer School, que tendrá lugar el miércoles 11 de julio en la Facultad de Ciencias de la Comunicación de la UAB, se celebrará el lanzamiento del proyecto MIL and Global Understanding – Peace for All Movement, una iniciativa que pretende generar puntos de encuentro entre culturas a través de los medios de comunicación y en el que se busca implicar a UNITWIN y a la Global Alliance for Partnerships on Media and Informational Literacy (GAPMIL) de la UNESCO.
