Research carried out by the Gabinete de Comunicación, of the UAB, with the European Association for Viewers’ Interests (EAVI), the University of Tampere, Finland (UTA), The Centre de liaison de l’enseignement et des médias d’information (CLEMI), of France; and the Université catholique de Louvain à Louvain (UCL) of Belgium.

The objetive of the study was to provide to the European Commission (EC) whith of a set of criteria and indicators as well as a possible tool for assessing the levels of media literacy of European citizens (in every Member States of the European Union).
