Experts from five continents will attend MILID WEEK

Experts from Asia, Africa, Latin America, North America and Europe have confirmed their attendance at the MILID WEEK congress that will take place on 22, 23, 24 and the 25th of May at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB).

This event will create a space to promote contact and cooperation between international organizations, universities, media and researchers, among others, from around the world working in media literacy and information and intercultural dialogue.

MILID WEEK is organized by the Department of Communication and Education of the UAB in collaboration with the International Association on Media Education (MENTOR) and is promoted by the UNITWIN Cooperation Programme on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue of the United Nations Alliance of Civilizations of UNESCO.

During the event there will be debates and an exchange of experiences in MILID presentations of studies, initiatives and projects as well as research results. Also, during the conference, the UNITWIN Cooperation Programme on Media and Information Literacy and Intercultural Dialogue will hold its annual meeting.

Among the institutions participating at this meeting will be: Cairo University, the University of the West Indies, Jamaica; the University of São Paulo, Temple University; Tsinghua University of China; as well as Queensland University of Technology, Australia, and the Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah University of Morocco.
