The EMEDUS Project is presented at the meeting of the European Media Literacy Experts Group

The European Media Literacy Education Study (EMEDUS) was presented to over 35 European experts who met on April 20th, 2012 in Brussels, headquarters of the European Commission (EC).

During the meeting José Manuel Pérez Tornero and Paolo Celot, representative of the UAB in charge of coordinating the project and General Secretary of EAVI respectively, explained the EMEDUS action plan and discussed it with the assembled experts.

It is worth mentioning that the "Media Literacy Expert Group" has an advisory role and is composed of specialists with different competencies and backgrounds from the academic world, international organisations such as UNESCO, the Council of Europe and Alliance of Civilizations, as well as professionals from the audiovisual and media industries, associations and regulators, among others.
