Gabinete presents the MILID Summer School

The next June will be held in Barcelona the MILID Summer School. The purpose of these academic sessions is to provide meeting spaces and group work to encourage the development of research projects in Journalism and MILID. The MILID, which takes place from 11 to 20 of June, hosts three different events: "New learning environments", June 11th, "Filmed learning experiences", June 12th - 13th and "Media and creating awareness", June 16th - 20th.  

The objectives of this event are: to promote meeting, discussion and work space among Young Journalists; to encourage the establishment of international networks of common thematic character, allowing the development of comparative research processes and journalistic production; to create a scenario for the exchange of experiences among students, faculty and international experts; to stimulate intercultural dialogue, and to offer some training tools essential to research under international experts' guidance, with the intention of learning and reflecting on new trends in the field of Communication Studies and Journalism.  

The MILID Summer School offers a wide variety of activities such as masterclasses, lectures given by international experts (topics of lectures will cover broad areas of Communication and Journalism, although they may contain certain specialized content).

Specialized lectures or round tables, lectures or round tables organized and thematically. Journalistic production, under the help and supervision of our technicians, teachers, and Graduate Students participants will develop content in a variety of media.

Cultural activities

The organization of the Summer School is organizing a variety of cultural activities that will take place in Barcelona and Catalonia, such as visits to museums, guided walking tours through Barcelona's modernist style, etc.
